At the foot of the Ifach Outcrop, an immense piece of rock 332 metres high, in a calm and crystal clear bay you will find this tranquil tourist town, formerly surrounded by a medieval wall of which the Tower of La Peça and the Parish Church of the virgin of the Snow still exists.

The 13 km of coastline are divided into two magnificant beaches boasting all types of services.  At Arenal you can find the Baths of the Queen, an excellently preserved Roman construction which was used as a fish factory.
