The Mar Menor is a part of the Mediterranean Sea separated by a thin strip of land 22 kilometres long and no deeper than 7 metres.
The ‘Lake’ is has an even temperature around 18 degrees Celsius all year round. It is used as an aquatic playground for swimming, sailing, diving, windsurfing and sunbathing.
The thin strip of land is called the “La Manga Strip” and the world-renowned golf complex of La Manga makes this part of Spain very popular. |
